Spiral: From The Book of SAW (Movie Review)

The Armchair Auteur is officially back to the movies! Caught a press screening last night of Spiral: From The Book of Saw, starring Chris Rock and Samuel L. Jackson, an inventive new fork in the road for the dormant Saw franchise. While there is no actual Jigsaw in this flick, it smartly follows in the OG films footsteps, updating the tone in such a way as to offer a new lease on life for the horror series.

Also, I saw it in a real theater, so that definitely made it rule even more.
